Marc Bergevin's priority must be Jesperi Kotkaniemi

Jesperi Kotkaniemi is 21 years old and he just completed his three-year entry-level deal, which paid him an average of $925,000 ($3.425 million with bonuses) per season. However, at the moment, KK is the only restricted free agent of the "regulars" who still hasn't found a deal with the Habs.
That being said, according to David Pagnotta, the young Finn should be Marc Bergevin's priority for several reasons, including having a potential roster and allowing Bergevin to know how much money he has available under the salary cap. We don't care if he is the 2nd or 3rd center on the line, we just want to make sure we keep his services and know his average salary.
The number 15 certainly lacks consistency in his game, but he has excellent potential that has yet to be fully exploited. When he's at full strength, he contributes offensively and is physically imposing along the boards. However, when he gets drowsy, he can sleep for a few games before waking up again.
Despite this, he had 20 points in 56 regular games and eight, including five goals, in the playoffs. He also scored some important goals on the CH's journey to the Stanley Cup Final.
All in all, even if Bergevin signs him, it will not prevent him from trading him if the need arises... like adding a Jack Eichel, for example.
