As we speak, newly returned goalie Jake Allen is doing the starting goalie routine.
He is expected to be the starting goalie tonight against the Detroit Red Wings.
"Jake Allen is doing the starting goalie routine with Eric Raymond.
So he should be back in the lineup against the Red Wings after eight straight starts from Samuel Montembeault." - JF Chaumont "A bit of a break for Samuel Montembeault tonight. Hopefully he doesn't warm up the end of the bench continuously because Jake Allen is back!

So this will obviously be a return to the game for the veteran Allen.
The 32-year-old Allen has a record of 10 wins, 16 losses and one overtime loss this season (3.52 goals-against average and 89.2% save percentage)
