We told you about it recently, but many fans have noticed that Dach is frequently and severely criticized by some RDS experts since the beginning of the season.
Benoit Brunet recently mentioned this:
This week, it was Gaston Therrien's turn to be very hard on Kirby Dach.
There was also the episode of Marc Denis and his criticism because Dach was wearing his cap backwards during a media availability.
Anyway, you'll go check out Twitter, many fans are conflating things and believe that RDS has a beef with Dach.
Big trio changes
Yesterday, in preparation for the game against the St. Louis Blues, Martin St-Louis completely changed his lineup, including a big promotion for Kirby Dach, as he now plays on the first line with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
Martin St-Louis commented on this promotion:
Then it gets a little more interesting.
St-Louis confided, in other words, that he is absolutely not concerned with other people's opinions (He doesn't care about the "outside noise"). He's focused on his team, he doesn't know what other people are saying about his players and his decisions, but basically he doesn't care.
We love it! So the message is clear.
That said, we liked the performance of the Habs' new first line against the Blues. Dach seems to complement Suzuki and Caufield very well.
Would you like to see this first trio remain intact?
