Even though we are already in the middle of the off-season, the National Hockey League is still going strong.
Eric Francis (ESPN) just said this on ESPN radio in St. Louis:
"I expect a potential trade involving Matthew Tkachuk to be completed this week. (Based on my information) it's clear that the two are parting ways.(Calgary and Tkachuk) Wow." It's a statement that quickly ignited the hockey world and is causing a huge reaction. After the emotional departure of Johnny Gaudreau (who has just signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets), the Flames could already lose the services of Matthew Tkachuk. It's big and it could happen as soon as this week.
Calgary would really be on the verge of trading RFA Matthew Tkachuk.
Tkachuk, 24, has an incredible 104 points (42 goals) in 82 games with the Calgary Flames in 2021-22. (+10 points in 12 playoff games)
That's a very big name and quite the star player who will obviously change addresses this week. Where would you see him end up?
