In scoring the first goal of the game yesterday against the Seattle Kraken, Max Pacioretty accomplished a feat that no other player has done in NHL history. He has managed to score at least one goal against each of the 32 teams in the Bettman circuit.
The former Montreal Canadiens captain was a big part of his team's win yesterday, scoring two goals and one assist. He is obviously in great shape for the current campaign. The Vegas Golden Knights are one of the favorites to win the big award this year, so they will need this kind of contribution from their maverick.
With this feat from number 67, it's easy to draw parallels with Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. The American football superstar became the first QB in history to throw at least one touchdown pass against all 32 NFL teams.
