The game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday left a lasting impression on Montreal fans.
Fans from all over Quebec were unable to attend the game, as it was played behind closed doors due to the exploding cases of COVID-19 in the province.
Among them was a young boy from a youth center who was supposed to attend the first game of his life. However, due to the government's decision, the young man was denied the opportunity to realize his youthful dream.
Host Nancy Audet wanted to remedy the situation by launching a cry from the heart on Twitter. Habs alumni Maxim Lapierre immediately responded to the call.
Thanks to the former number 40, the Canadiens Children's Foundation will offer a worthy gift to the young man for Christmas.
In addition, Lapierre hinted that he is very open to helping with other projects of this magnitude. What a man of heart this Max Lapierre! ❤
