Mike Hoffman has been sidelined for some time with a mysterious lower body injury he suffered prior to arriving at the Canadiens training camp. He started to skate again recently, but very slowly.
However, today you could see a lot of improvement in his rehabilitation. He wasn't skating at full speed, but he seems to be much more solid on his skates.
In addition, the power play specialist took the opportunity to shoot some powerful and surgically accurate shots to get back in the game. We can't wait to see him in action in a real game, though.
Marc Bergevin has been looking for him for his power play scoring ability and obviously #68 understands that. He's getting ready mentally and physically to deliver the goods.
