In the post-game report of RDS journalist Patrick Friolet, we learn that the captain of the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki, would have liked to play more considering that the team only had three center players in uniform last night.

Nick Suzuki dissatisfied with the ice time given by Martin St-Louis?

It's strange for the captain to make such a statement publicly in the media, but that's what's being reported here:

See the statement in question, reported by RDS.

"I think Jake [Evans] and Mony [Sean Monahan] were on double-shifts a bit more than me, but it's obviously a strange and interesting situation... but we were ready to play a lot of minutes...»

- Nick Suzuki

Personally, we didn't see it that way, but that's what's circulating and let's say it's causing a stir.

Suzuki played 21:47, Monahan played 20:00, and Evans played a solid 20:25.

Do you believe that the Canadiens should recall Lias Andersson to have four center players? Do you believe that Martin St-Louis is using his captain well?

After last nights' terrible game, St. Louis has made several lineup changes. Joshua Roy has been scratched, and Juraj Slafkovsky has been shockingly demoted off the top line.

Joshua Roy appears to be a healthy scratch.

- Anthony Martineau, TVA Sports

Do you think Martin St. Louis is overcompensating with these moves? If the captain can't get behind his own head coach, it's definitely seeming that way.

Major Update On Roy

We just learned that he was sent back to laval!
