There is a huge last-minute development in the case of the 2018 Team Canada World Juniors Scandal.

After months of investigations and speculation, criminal charges will be filed. This is big.

"Breaking: Five members of the 2018 world junior hockey team have been told to surrender to London, Ont., police to face charges of sexual assault, The Globe and Mail reports, citing unnamed sources.
The Globe reports the players, who have not been charged yet, have been given a set period of time to present themselves at London police headquarters.

So, it is five players from the 2018 edition of TCJ who have been told to report to the London, Ontario, police to face justice.

"For those hitting the paywall, no, the players are not named. According to the Globe and Mail, the London police are asking the players to come forward for the laying of charges, within a time period that is not specified."

- Alexandre Pratt, La Presse

The five names are indeed not revealed in the Globe and Mail article, but it's only a matter of time before they come out.

This is a complex case, particularly because some of these players might be outside the country at present.

Details will follow.
