Absent for the past few games, Montreal Canadiens forward Sean Monahan seems to be on his way to defying the odds and returning to the game sooner than expected.
According to some, the CH could even make the official announcement sooner than expected.
Monahan got some good news in the last few hours, as he no longer needs to wear a therapy boot on his right foot.
A clear sign that he is on the fast track to recovery and a return to play. We love it!
His return will do the team a world of good:
"Sean Monahan is a complete player, the Canadiens miss him greatly!" - Vincent Damphousse
The Habs will count on Mike Matheson's return to action today, and Monahan could follow soon. In the meantime, let's remember that Kirby Dach has been moved to center for tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, while Josh Anderson finds his place on the Habs' first trio, along with Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.
