Since his arrival with the Montreal Canadiens, forward Patrik Laine has been the subject of much talk. Until now, it has mostly been for good reasons, but unfortunately, that is starting to change.

This morning on BPM Sports, Gilbert Delorme had a lot to say about Laine.

"Listen, it's on the goal.. the second goal, it's pathetic!

The Ducks player skates right past him, he just has to stay with him, follow him, skate.. He completely stops skating.

At 5-on-5, it's [horrible], it's zero, and yesterday it was pathetic!

He gets benched in the third! He gets benched in the third, and there's a sequence where he's playing with his nails on the bench..

What's the problem right now, Pat?

What's your f***ing problem?! [...]"

"He was sitting on his ass the whole game, that sends a weird message to the rest of the team... [...] He was right to bench him!"

- Gilbert Delorme, who indeed had a lot to say about Patrik Laine

See the scene in question:

Do you agree with the host and former Montreal Canadiens player?

Patrik Laine is making a lot of noise this morning

You can guess that this is a big topic of discussion today everywhere in the media world, and the level of effort shown by Laine doesn't seem to be unanimous.

It seems to have particularly irritated Gilbert Delorme.

And you, what's your opinion on all of this?

Patrik Laine has accumulated 18 points in 24 games this season with the Canadiens, but no points in his last four games, with a negative differential of -5.

Let's really hope he can turn things around quickly.
