Evgenii Dadonov has been the subject of many rumors and speculations in the last few hours, as he was seen having a big discussion with general manager Kent Hughes after being dropped from the CH lineup on Saturday.
Then, he was mysteriously absent yesterday, and the organization justified itself by saying that he was having a treatment day, even if he was 100% healthy to play on Saturday.
How did he get injured between Saturday and yesterday? You be the judge.
Dadonov was out again today, and the organization came back with the same justification that many seriously question.
In order to make a statement, the Montreal Canadiens organization finally made an official statement on the matter.
"Evgenii Dadonov is dealing with a health issue, he is not available to play or train at this time."
The Habs really wanted to push this. It's up to you to draw your own conclusions, but let's just say there's an awful lot of smoke on this issue.
"Edmundson is closing in on a return. It's safe to assume Dadonov is getting close to waivers." - Jonathan Bernier, Journal de Montreal
Will Dadonov be traded or placed on waivers this week? To be continued, but Kent Hughes will soon need to make room to insert Joel Edmundson into his lineup.
Did this official statement from the Tricolore convince you?
