There is one issue that has caused a lot of talk and speculation among fans since the elimination of the Quebec Remparts, and that is the future of Patrick Roy in the hockey world.

Roy, who was considered by the Montreal Canadiens for the GM position a few months ago (he was interviewed), has yet to confirm his official return to the Remparts.

Moreover, since Luke Richardson's departure, some people have (again) associated his name with the Tricolore. In short, today we will finally have some concrete news about Patrick Roy's future in the hockey world.

Before we can talk about a possible future with the Montreal Canadiens for Roy, either as an assistant coach or as director of goaltending (to replace Sean Burke), he must first decide on his future with the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL.

This is what he will do today! As reported last week by the excellent Stéphane Turcot (TVA), an announcement will obviously be made today.

The Quebec Remparts have also issued the following official statement:

"Jacques Tanguay and Patrick Roy will meet with the media on Monday, July 4.

Join us at 3:30 p.m. live on our Facebook page." - Quebec Remparts

So it's a date, starting today at 3:30 pm!

Remember that Roy took many by surprise during the Remparts' end-of-season review, by questioning his future behind the team's bench.

Let's also remember that three options are available to Roy today:

1- Remain head coach and general manager of the Remparts

2- Remain only as general manager of the Remparts

3- Leave the Quebec Remparts.

We will have our answer in a few hours. It's promising! What is your prediction?
