In an interview on BPM Sports in the last few hours, the engaging forward Corey Perry had some really interesting comments.
He gave the real reason why he left the Montreal Canadiens.
"Corey Perry did choose the Tampa Lightning because Julien BriseBois had offered him a two-year contract, as opposed to Marc Bergevin who had only offered him one year." - Fans
That's what he said on BPM Sports in the last few hours and that would be the real reason he left Montreal.
That and nothing else.
Listen to it:
Perry, 37, has 13 points, including five goals, in 29 games this season.
Do you think the CH should have signed Corey Perry for two years back then?
