In the last few minutes, Montreal Canadiens forward Paul Byron has made a point of reacting publicly and issuing an official statement to the story of the seaplane accident.
He also took the opportunity to salute a hero of the day:

"Paul Byron reacted to the events via his Twitter account on Sunday night, humbly mentioning that the hero of this story is Serge Labelle, the one who pulled the pilot out of the plane.
