Last night, Shane Wright's team (in the OHL), the Kingston Frontenacs, were eliminated by the North Bay Batallion.
Trailing 5-1 after two periods, Wright's team made a dramatic comeback, only to lose 6-5.
Shane Wright was the star of the game:
Wright will now officially begin his preparation for the 2022 NHL Draft, including the upcoming Combine.
He could possibly extend his season if Team Canada invites him to join them for the World Championship, but that remains to be seen. It would be an interesting call that he could receive and that he deserves, according to some.
It would be quite an experience for the youngster.
We'll keep an eye on this one, but all indications are that Shane Wright has played his last game in the OHL ever.
Will his next one be in a Montreal Canadiens uniform? Stay tuned!
