Now that he is officially a player of the Montreal Canadiens, Juraj Slafkovsky answered questions and also got to spend some quality time with the fans:
In an interview on TVA Sports, Slafkovsky had this to say
"This is an incredible moment for me. I'm just happy to be a Habs player." - Slafkovsky
Who is he comparing himself to?
"I would like to be, even if he's retired, like Marian Hossa." - Slafkovsky
Others compare him to Mikko Rantanen instead. One thing's for sure, we're really looking forward to seeing him in action in the Red-White-Blue uniform.
Slafkovsky had a nice little message for his new fans:
Finally, to answer those who booed him at the beginning of the evening, he answered this:
"Maybe some people don't like me too much, but I'm going to make sure they love me soon. I understand them, they're passionate, but I'm going to make sure I get them on my side."
