In a press conference in the last few minutes, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis gave a serious hint about a possible announcement for Kent Hughes. This is another sign of the good communication between the two executives.

When asked about young Justin Barron, who will be left out of the lineup again tonight, check out what St-Louis had to say:

"Martin St. Louis on Justin Barron being left out again: ''I'm having a hard time changing defensemen right now because I feel like we're getting together... I've talked to JB, we've had discussions and I think he understands that. ''

Martin St. Louis on Justin Barron: ''Unfortunately, he was probably called back at the worst time, when we were at our lowest point of the season (in terms of performance), so it was not a good environment for him; we were not a very confident team and we were struggling. I think JB played pretty well for the most part.''

Martin St. Louis on Justin Barron: ''Basically, I think as a team, we weren't doing very well and it hurt JB at that point.''

And then Martin St. Louis added a very interesting point. He mentioned very clearly that they want Barron to play quick games and big minutes.

So a reporter asked him if a move back to Laval is in the plans, and St-Louis made no secret of the fact that it is definitely an option.

So don't be surprised if, in the near future, Kent Hughes announces that Justin Barron will be sent back to Laval. If that was your decision, what would you do with the young defenseman?
