As you know, last night, Team Canada Junior lost its first game of the World Junior Championship to the Czech Republic, 5-2.
An announcement to come for Joshua Roy?
After this very disappointing result, there will obviously be some big changes.
Today, the excellent Stéphane Leroux stated, in a post on Twitter, that Joshua Roy would now form a trio with Connor Bedard and Logan Stankoven on the first line for the next game. Wow!
His tweet has since been deleted, however, so this should be taken with a grain of salt, but it would be really interesting to see!
Speaking of announced changes, head coach Dennis Williams announced that Thomas Milic would be the starting goalie. So there is a change of goalie.
Canada will play its second game on Wednesday against Germany at 6:30 pm.
