At the 2022 World Junior Championships that were cancelled last winter, the CH had three representatives in Kaiden Guhle, Jan Mysak and Oliver Kapanen. When the tournament resumed this summer, it was now five players from the organization who were present: Joshua Roy, Riley Kidney, Jan Mysak, Oliver Kapanen and Petteri Nurmi.

For the next tournament, which will be held during the upcoming holiday season in Moncton, there could be as many as nine players from the Montreal organization as reported by Grant McCagg.

The former scout believes that Owen Beck (Canada), Oliver Kapanen (Finland), Filip Mesar (Slovakia), Riley Kidney (Canada), Joshua Roy (Canada) and Vinzenz Rohrer (Austria) are a sure thing.

Lane Hutson (United States), Logan Mailloux (Canada) and Adam Engstrom (Sweden) could surprise and perhaps make it into their country's lineup. These would be three very interesting names to watch.

That's not counting the fact that the most recent first overall pick, Juraj Slafkovsky, is still 18 years old and eligible to play in the tournament. However, it would be surprising if the organization let him go, unless the Slovakian has a lot of trouble in the NHL by then.

The club's fans will therefore be served this winter when the event is next presented. They will have players to watch in most of the games of the tournament!
