The CH has obviously just revealed an official first trio, and this would confirm the spot of a new player in the lineup

With the Montreal Canadiens' first regular season game fast approaching, we obviously have our official first trio, and it confirms the roster spot for an intriguing winger.
Dadonov-Dvorak-Gallagher, this trio seems to be really set in stone, and it will obviously be our second or third trio, to start the 2022 season. Do you like this combination?
It also confirms that Evgeny Dadonov will obviously start the season in Montreal, and that he won't be one of the surprise forwards that will be left over from the CH. (Because yes, there will be one.)
We were talking about it yesterday, but you can't help but expect a veteran Montreal Canadiens forward to be surprisingly placed on waivers within the next week. There are simply too many NHL-caliber forwards out there.
A player like Mike Hoffman, for example, could get bumped. It will be interesting to watch, but we can probably assume that Dadonov will start the year in Montreal and that he will start the season on a line with Christian Dvorak and Brendan Gallagher.
"[...] Dadonov-Dvorak-Gallagher, it's looking more and more like it's set in stone.
Guhle-Savard is a good fit and many have talked about this option[...]" - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
The Kaiden Guhle-David Savard pairing will also be interesting to follow. The season is approaching!
