The Canadiens Make An Official Announcement Regarding Nicolas Beaudin

We told you about it earlier, Renaud Lavoie had mentioned that it was probably going to happen, but it is now official and confirmed.
The Montreal Canadiens organization has just announced that their new acquisition, Nicolas Beaudin, has been assigned to the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League.
"The Habs announce that defenseman Nicolas Beaudin, acquired this morning from the Chicago Blackhawks, will report to the Laval Rocket." - Simon-O. Lorange
If he eventually has to replace Chris Wideman in the Montreal Canadiens lineup, then it won't be for immediately.
The position of a guy like Wideman seems to be secure, for the moment, despite this acquisition. Remember that Beaudin has the potential to lead a power play and is a first round pick.
