We suspected that this was not a good sign when we saw this morning that Justin Barron was absent from his team's practice and it is confirmed.
Martin St-Louis mentioned at the press conference that the youngster was a doubtful case, but it is now confirmed: Barron will not be making the trip with his teammates.
The same goes for Paul Byron.
Remember that yesterday, towards the end of the game between the Canadiens and the Ottawa Sens, live from the Bell Centre, the young defenseman seemed to be injured and it looked painful:
We will have more details in the next few hours about the severity of the injury, but Barron will miss at least the next few games on the road.
Chris Wideman, William Lagesson and Kale Clague are the candidates to replace him.
