In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens held their morning practice of the day in Tampa Bay in preparation for tonight's game against the Lightning, and Martin St-Louis revealed his final lineup.
There is one more major change to officially note:
"Justin Barron will play his first game of the season with Jordan Harris.
Caufield-Suzuki-Armia
Hoffman-Dach-Drouin
Slafkovsky-Dvorak-Anderson
Pezzetta-Evans-Richard
Edmundson-Guhle
Xhekaj-Kovacevic
Harris-Barron
Allen (in front of the net)" - JF Chaumont So Barron is officially inserted into the lineup:
"The CH will play with five rookies on the blue line tonight.
According to NHL statisticians, we haven't seen five rookie defensemen on a roster since the Philadelphia Flyers in 2007. That was April 5, 2007." - JF Chaumont
This should be very interesting, and we look forward to seeing Barron in action again.
See the CH's official release on the subject:
Evgenii Dadonov and Chris Wideman are left out, Joel Armia will be on the first line with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, and Anthony Richard remains in the lineup. (on the fourth line)
