The Montreal Canadiens organization has officially announced three changes to their roster for tonight's game against the Predators in Nashville, including one surprise.
It's certainly a surprise that Chris Wideman was preferred over Johnatan Kovacevic, but that's the case, as Kovacevic will officially be scratched from the roster.
Just asked about this in a media scrum earlier today, check out what head coach Martin St-Louis had to say:
"St-Louis about the players left out.
Armia: need for results
Kovacevic: it's going to stay between the two."
- Marc-André Perreault, TVA Sports
An interesting explanation to say the least, but hey, it'll be something to keep an eye on over the next few days.
What is your prediction for tonight's duel between Montreal and Nashville?
