We just witnessed a twist on the National Hockey League waivers today, as the very talented Jakub Vrana is now available for free to other teams.
"A shocker in Detroit. Vrana placed on waivers!"

Vrana, it will be remembered, had called in the NHL's player assistance program last October to help with personal issues, but for almost a month he was back on the ice.
A file to follow closely! We are talking about a player with the potential to score 70 to 80 points per season.
