In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization has just made a rather bizarre announcement regarding defenseman Joel Edmundson.
Everyone knows that Edmundson will be back in the game tonight, everyone knows that he has the green light from the doctors (the players have confirmed it), but still, the organization announced that he is "game time decision".
"A decision will be made pre-game as to whether Joel Edmundson will face the Jets." - Montreal Canadiens
This is their official statement.
Why state that? Why not just announce his return to the game? Bad question, and it's a big deal on social networks right now.
There is a lot of misunderstanding and mystery in this file.
Let's add (on top of that) that the organization published this, about Edmundson, a few minutes after announcing that Evgenii Dadonov is mysteriously placed on the injured list.
His virus suddenly seems to have become an injury.
Even though Dadonov has been practicing regularly, and even though he spent a lot of time on the ice today at high intensity, he is now on the injured list.
Anyway, there are several questions on this file, and it's very unusual, but we'll have answers soon. (we hope)
