The Canadiens made a big mistake last night

For those who listened to the postgame talks on Monday night, you were no doubt surprised to see Laurent Dauphin in front of the lenses. Why did Dauphin came to take the heat he shouldn't have?
He was the least used forward on Monday night with a time of 12 minutes 07. He concluded this encounter with a minus-2 differential, which was not particularly radiant. One wonders why Dom Ducharme opted for this one instead of Michael Pezzetta.
Dauphin may be 26, but he's in his first few miles in the NHL, so it doesn't make sense to send him there instead of some veterans who should have taken that kind of heat.
I would like to come back to one thing, an important aspect, also highlighted by Mathieu Chouinard: If there had been a captain in the room, such a thing would not have happened. He would have risen to prevent this situation!
Some veterans don't want to go to the media during such a crappy season, so we send young people, that's often the case, isn't it?
