When the Montreal Canadiens were denied a call on Monday night against the Arizona Coyotes, Brendan Gallagher's heart burned on Twitter. «Gally» was in «tab*rnac», as they say in Quebec!
But is that the right way to do it? Is it leadership to do it that way? Would Shea Weber have done this type of output via any social network?
In any case, Maxim Lapierre and Claude Guillet took the opportunity to criticize Gallagher on his comments.
«Brendan Gallagher... Already you're disappointing as a leader this year with your stick strokes everywhere. A kind of overly emotional leader who, in fact, leads no one. And now you're doing the same thing in your living room. It's disappointing," said Guillet.
«Are the Montreal Canadiens really there? When the team leaders are unhappy, they're going to cry on Twitter? Really? 32nd in the NHL and our biggest leader decides that he tweets his anger towards... the league! I drop my mic," said Lapierre.
It's simple, once again, we have tangible proof of the great lack of leadership within this team. It's about time Joel Edmundson comes back and cleaned up the cabin...
