It's rare to see such announcements made in the middle of August, but the Montreal Canadiens organization has just announced a notable personnel move.

A few days after adding Stéphane Robidas as assistant coach to Martin St-Louis (to replace Luke Richardson), Kent Hughes was to replace another important coach.

Mario Leblanc, who was a video instructor for 25 years for the Montreal Canadiens, is leaving his position.

"Mario Leblanc is stepping down from the video instructor position he held for 25 seasons with the Canadiens." - Montreal Canadiens

It is finally Daniel Harvey who will replace him, he who occupied the same functions, but in Laval, with the Rocket. A nice promotion for him.

See the comments of general manager Kent Hughes, following this summer announcement:

"On behalf of the entire organization, I want to thank Mario for all his years of loyal service with the Canadiens. Working behind the scenes for over 25 years, Mario was a key member of the coaching staff. At the same time, I want to congratulate Daniel on joining the team." - Kent Hughes
