The Canadiens organization reacts to the young fan kicked out of the Maple Leafs arena
It's a story that went viral very quickly last night, when we learned that the young man who had the chance to meet Nick Suzuki on Saturday in Toronto, as you can see a little in the following video :
Well, the young fan in question and his family had to leave the Maple Leafs arena.
Why did they have to leave?
Nick Suzuki interrupted his warm-up on Saturday before the game against the Maple Leafs in Toronto to take a few minutes to give a young fan a magical and memorable moment.
Suzuki went into the stands to meet the young fan, chat with him and give him a few unique gifts: a stick, a picture and an autograph.
It's the stick that's at issue here:
The father was asked by a subscriber, "did they really make you leave the arena??"
And he replied this:
The young man, because he didn't want to give up his precious stick donated by Nick Suzuki (and understandably so), had to leave the arena and couldn't even attend the game.
It has indeed caused a lot of reaction on social networks yesterday, and this morning, as reported by the excellent journalist John Lu (TSN), the Montreal Canadiens organization has reacted.
That didn't take long, wow! Kudos to the Canadiens and kudos to social media.
Not sure what will be done or what will be offered to the kid (and his family), but it might be very interesting for them.
