Tonight on L'Antichambre on RDS, analysts will take stock of the work over the years of assistant general manager Marc Bergevin, Trevor Timmins.

The subject of the show was inspired by a statistic that is not very good for the organization. Trevor Timmins has been with the Habs since 2003.

The Montreal Canadiens is literally the only team in the NHL that has not drafted a player with 70 points or more since Timmins took over. I remind you that this includes players who have played elsewhere as well.

Trevor Timmins is considered by many to be "one of the best in the business". Yes, he has drafted several impact players over the years, I'm not taking that away from him, but he hasn't been able to draft players who were truly dominant offensively.

Honestly, I don't blame him directly. It's the organization's fault for keeping him around for so many years. Maybe it's time for a little housekeeping at the administrative level.

There are bad habits in this organization and have been for a long time. Problems such as poor evaluations and an anemic development system have been rampant for far too long. Timmins has had his day, maybe it's time to move on.
