The Montreal Canadiens are reporting the reasons behind the absence of Samuel Montembeault

This morning, Montembeault was absent from training as he was at a medical appointment so that the doctors could check his wrist thoroughly.
As a result, he came to skate with goaltender coach Eric Raymond. The two men did individual exercises and everything seems to have gone smoothly.
Let's hope that Carey Price's acting young goaltender, Jake Allen, quickly recovers from this small injury.
Gallagher and Byron: two big competitors
Following regular training, Brendan Gallagher and Paul Byron worked overtime. They practiced winning one-on-one battles, so you will guess that it was very intense since they are two great warriors.
They also gave themselves a few checks... and if we rely on Marc-André Perreault, Dominique Ducharme had to beg his two players to come back (to stop). Hahaha!
Will the two «warriors» be back on Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers?
