The Montreal Canadiens just announced another last-minute press conference
In the last few seconds, following the signing of forward Cole Caufield for eight seasons, the Montreal Canadiens organization has announced another press conference.
We did not expect this waking up this morning, but things are heating up today at the Habs!
Cole Caufield will speak with the media [via Zoom] around 1 p.m. ET this afternoon to discuss his new contract extension.
- Via Priyanta Emrith
We can't wait to see him again and we are eager to hear what he has to say!
We should of course remember that Caufield just put his signature at the bottom of a contract for a duration of 8 years / $7.85 million per season.
This is the news of the day and we are so happy with the result!
More details will follow.
Please note that Caufield's press conference will be broadcast on BPM Sports among others.
