It was extremely expected, and well, the Montreal Canadiens organization has just announced five big cuts.
The Canadiens have assigned the following players to the Laval Rocket:
J. Barron
R. Harvey-Pinard
O. Leskinen
C. Primeau
J. Ylönen
Players who will certainly be among the first to be recalled in case of injury.
A disappointment
In the case of Justin Barron, it is a big disappointment for him, who had clearly mentioned at the beginning of the camp that he absolutely wanted to stay in Montreal.
This seems to mean that Juraj Slafkovsky, Kaiden Guhle, Jordan Harris and Arber Xhekaj (!) will start the season with the Canadiens. We love it!
In the case of Xhekaj, it could depend on the health of Joel Edmundson.
