With that, they try to predict the teams' trios and duos, based on the information they have.
Recently, it was the Montreal Canadiens' turn to have their own chapter, and journalist Sean Farrell (NHL.com) drew an interesting picture of the Habs' lineup.
Ironically, the reporter actually has the same name as the CH's promising prospect.
In short, according to Farrell, three young Tricolore prospects will break into the lineup for the 2021-22 season. There are also some surprises.
Regarding Juraj Slafkovsky, the NHL.com reporter believes the Slovak will knock on the door, but he doesn't put him in his final lineup prediction. Which is a big surprise to many.
Here it is, by the way, that predicted lineup:
Canadian projected lineup
Josh Anderson -- Nick Suzuki -- Cole Caufield
Jonathan Drouin -- Kirby Dach -- Brendan Gallagher
Mike Hoffman -- Christian Dvorak -- Evgeny Dadonov
Rem Pitlick -- Jake Evans -- Joel Armia
Joel Edmundson -- Chris Wideman
Michael Matheson -- David Savard
Jordan Harris -- Justin Barron
This puts young defensemen Harris and Barron in the lineup, but not Kaiden Guhle. Farrell doesn't believe Kaiden Guhle is ready to make the jump to the NHL in the first game of the season.
As my colleague J-B Gagné reports, that doesn't mean, however, that Guhle couldn't get a few games later in the year by being recalled from the Laval Rocket.
Do you agree with Sean Farrell's lineup prediction?
