It was the start of hostilities last night in Laval as the Rocket played their first regular season game against the Belleville Senators. Fans were in attendance at Place Bell to cheer on their favorites.
With the relaxation of the sanitary measures, 8609 spectators were on hand to see the Rocket defeat their opponents by a score of 6 to 2.
The second period was quite explosive for Jean-François Houde's team who scored four goals in that period. The team never looked back.
Michael Pezzetta, Tobie Paquette-Bisson and Jean-Sebastien Dea got the three stars of the game for the hosts with two points each. Ryan Poehling also had a goal early in the third period.
Pezzeta played a great game. Damn, he'd wake up the troops on the Habs, that one. Who can do that right now? Nobody! A phone call to Laval, Marc?
The Rocket's next game is tonight against the Senators in Belleville.
