For the past few days, we've known that defenseman Joel Edmundson's return to play is imminent, and it's something we're watching very closely.
First of all, because it will be major for the Montreal Canadiens. We're talking about a solid veteran defenseman, who will certainly improve the team.
Secondly, because it will be really interesting to see which defenseman will be scooped up following Edmundson's return to action. The candidates are Chris Wideman and Johnatan Kovacevic (if Martin St-Louis agrees to take out a right-hander), otherwise, the other players at risk are Arber Xhekaj and possibly Jordan Harris.
Anyway, the decision will have to wait a bit, because the verdict just came in today for Joel Edmundson.
"Joel Edmundson remains in his non-contact jersey at Montreal Canadiens practice in St. Louis." - Arpon Basu
And there you have it! On the other hand, Edmundson seems very close to a return, and so we ask you.
If it was your decision, who would you take out of the Montreal Canadiens lineup, to insert "Eddy"?
