It's official, Jake Allen will not be back in action against the Detroit Red Wings tonight. The latter was tackled by Dylan Larkin, after the Wings captain was pushed by Jeff Petry.
He left the game afterwards and never came back. Samuel Montembeault came on in relief of Allen in the second period.
It feels like Cayden Primeau's recall! Remember that the Habs are in Boston tomorrow to play the Bruins.
Hopefully it's just a precaution...
