The young Logan Mailloux was used today as a forward by the Montreal Canadiens on the power play
In the context of the Montreal Canadiens' rookie game against the Ottawa Senators' rookies, which took place earlier today, we noticed an interesting element.
The young Logan Mailloux, just like David Reinbacher for that matter, was indeed used as a forward on the power play.
This could be an interesting preview of what awaits Mailloux with the Laval Rocket this season. We love it and it's worth noting!
As for Reinbacher, it proves that the organization truly believes in his offensive potential, which is promising and encouraging for the future.
Today, the latter was deployed on the first power play unit, while Mailloux was on the second unit.
They have an interesting dynamic. Reinbacher is more of a distributor, who doesn't shoot much, whereas Mailloux makes great use of his powerful shot. They complement each other very well.
Speaking of Mailloux, he hit at least two posts today.
