In the last few minutes, the St. Louis Blues have put a name on waivers that Montreal Canadiens fans will recognize.
Former CH Matthew Peca was indeed waived and is now available for free to NHL teams.
Peca, 29, has played six games this season with the Springfield club and has five points. (5 points in 6 games)
It is indeed recalled that Peca has evolved with the Habs, from 2018 to 2020, including being famously employed on the first wave of the power play at the time.
He had 10 points with the CH in 2018-19 (in 39 games) and 13 points with the Laval Rocket.
More details will follow.
