Trade alert: Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens have traded prospect Riley Kidney in exchange for Bobby Orr

In the last few seconds, Montreal Canadiens prospect Riley Kidney was traded to the Gatineau Olympiques by the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the QMJHL.
In return, the Titan receives: Donovan Arsenault, Robert "Bobby" Orr and a first round pick in 2025.
You read that right. That same Bobby Orr we were telling you about earlier this season. Let's just say he has the right name to become a solid hockey player.

As for Kidney, the CH's second-round pick in the 2021 draft (63rd overall) has 45 points in 31 games this season with the Titan. Last season, he reached the 100-point plateau in 66 games.
