The Montreal Canadiens returned to the ice after a day off, and the first piece of good news was Jake Allen. The interim number one goaltender was back with his teammates at practice.
But there was even better news in the morning session, as Joel Edmundson returned for a full practice with his team.
The return of the number 44 and his beautiful moustache will be great for the defensive brigade, the leadership, Dominique Ducharme, and the entire team.
Cedric Paquette also showed up on the ice surface of the Brossard Sports Complex and was wearing a non-contact jersey.
Brett Kulak, for his part, was conspicuous by his absence, as he was enjoying a day of treatments.
Edmundson was not on any defensive pairings during the drills, as Mattias Norlinder took Kulak's seat.
Note that Edmundson also could not receive any contact, but his appearance is so positive, as I'll say it once again.
