After being claimed from waivers in the last few days, great goaltender Jonas Johansson is once again available to all NHL teams.
A few days after having claimed him (and after having claimed goaltender Connor Ingram), the Arizona Coyotes have just put Johansson back on waivers.
Johansson, 27, is 6-foot-5 (220 pounds) with 32 career NHL games. He has maintained a goals-against-average of 3.42 and a save percentage of 0.883%. He had a few good seasons in the AHL as well as in Sweden's top league.
A right-handed defenseman.
Also on waivers today is Quebec defenseman Nicolas Meloche.
Meloche, 25 and drafted 40th overall in 2015, has 8 points in 57 career games in the NHL. We are talking about a right-handed defenseman.
He was just recently cut, by the Calgary Flames.
