For the first time ever, tomorrow, the Vegas Golden Knights will finally have Jack Eichel in their line-up as they take on an NHL powerhouse: the Colorado Avalanche.
To make room in their roster to officially insert Eichel and his contract, Mark Stone was placed on the long-term injured list yesterday. (A decision that reminds what the Lightning and Kucherov did last season, Stone should return for the playoffs)
Today, GM Kelly McCrimmon just made another move in this direction, to make room.
As reported by Renaud Lavoie, of TVA Sports, Vegas has just placed Adam Brooks on waivers, a player who was claimed earlier this season by the Golden Knights, from the Montreal Canadiens.
Brooks, 25, has : 1 point in 4 games with the Habs, 3 points in 5 games with the Laval Rocket, and 2 goals in 7 games in Las Vegas.
He will know tomorrow, at 2 p.m., whether he is claimed or not. Do you believe he will be?
