Watch: Martin St-Louis is losing his patience and he's not shy about saying it clearly

Since his arrival at the head of the club, Martin St-Louis has always kept his calm, even in difficult moments. He has rarely raised his voice, either on the ice or in front of the media.

With a rather difficult trip, the main interested party admitted Monday that his patience has limits, and that he is about to reach that line...

"If you raise your voice every time, the tone has less impact. You have to pick your moments. There are many ways to tell the truth. I have to be myself too. I don't want to become someone I'm not."

Clearly, as he mentions, he's starting to lose patience.

It is understandable, the CH has lost its last five clashes and was dominated 20-5 in the last three games. If the defeat does not bother the head coach so much, the effort of his men, however, greatly disappoints him.

"We have to win the battles and be tougher to play against," he said at his daily media availability. We have to work hard. Me, I'm starting with that." - Martin St. Louis

The CH will finish its 7-game road trip, which began on December 19 in Arizona, this Tuesday night in Nashville. It is Samuel Montembeault who will have the heavy task of restoring confidence in his players and protecting the net of the club.

The CH is currently 27th in the league, tied with the Philadelphia Flyers with 33 points each. The good news, if there is any, is that the club now has, according to Tankathon, a 7.5% chance of winning the draft lottery with their pick. Add in the 6% that the Panthers pick offers and Kent Hughes now has a 13.5% chance of selecting Connor Bedard in the next draft.
