We told you a few minutes ago that Kent Hughes is currently very active in trying to acquire another top-10 pick for the 2022 National Hockey League draft, which will be held in Montreal:
Among the teams that Kent Hughes has contacted, to try to make a trade, are the Ottawa Sens (who have the seventh overall pick)
Expect negotiations to intensify between CH GM and Senators GM Pierre Dorion, because (first) Kent Hughes would really like to acquire another top-10 pick, but also (second) because the Sens' famous seventh overall pick is available on the trade market.
They are absolutely open to trading him.
So, according to information from reporter Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun, Montreal and Ottawa could absolutely make a trade together, including the 7th overall pick.
In addition, we now know the price set by Pierre Dorion, for his famous first round pick in 2022. According to Garrioch, in order to get his hands on the 7th overall pick, Kent Hughes will have to offer:
A top-4 defenseman and a good winger.
That's what Dorion is asking for. Knowing that, what would your offer be?
