Earlier this morning, we reported on the blood-curdling images of a Rangers fan gratuitously punching a Tampa Bay Lightning fan Thursday night outside Madison Square Garden.
The offender, who fled into the crowd following his stupid act, was eventually found by authorities. As Evan Axelbank of Fox Network reports, the suspect, 29-year-old Perp James Anastasio, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, two counts of disturbing the peace and two counts of harassment.
CONFIRMING
Perp James Anastasio, 29 of Staten Island, was ARRESTED and charged with 2 counts of assault, 2 counts of disorderly conduct, and 2 counts of harassment
The victim refused medical attention at the scene, so hopefully that means he is OK!!!
It was reported that the victim is doing well. He reportedly refused medical assistance, which assumes everything is ok. Let's hope that the man will not have too many after-effects from this event.
