Before Sunday's game against the Anaheim Ducks, the Montreal Canadiens announced that Mathieu Perreault would be out of action for the next two to three weeks with an eye injury.
At the time of the announcement, we did not have the details, but the Tricolore finally revealed them: the number 85 suffers from a detached retina. He was operated on yesterday in Los Angeles.
For a few days, he had been seeing blurred on his right side, then, after his passage under the scalpel, he learned that it was a birth disease. With a SOLID blow, he could have lost his sight completely. AYOYE!
Get well soon, Mathieu!
