We witnessed a special moment during the Montreal Canadiens' practice today, in preparation for their game against the New York Islanders.
Just hours away from playing his first game of the season (just hours away from making his comeback), goaltender Carey Price had a nice chat with his head coach Martin St-Louis at the end of the session.
You never saw that before, but here is another proof that things have really changed under the St-Louis era. A head coach talking to his starting goalie like that on a game day never happens.
Let's face it, it's really nice to see!
Two great leaders of the Habs, two men who can change everything for Montreal, having a good talk together, in order to have the best preparation and communication possible to win today's game.
According to those present at the game, Price and St-Louis, during their discussion, seemed very feverish and they are exactly on the same page. This promises to be great!
Before leaving the ice this morning, Carey had one last good discussion, this time with goalie coach Eric Raymond:
The table is set! Go Habs Go!
